🎉 BIG news today at Bossier Schools! The Louisiana Department of Education has named semifinalists for Louisiana Principal of the Year and finalists for New Teacher of the Year and two outstanding Bossier Parish educators made the cut! Congratulations to Benton Intermediate School Principal Jennifer Burris for being named a Principal of the Year Semifinalist and Michael Shelton, who is a first-year teacher at Rusheon Middle School, as a New Teacher of the Year Finalist! They will be celebrated and honored at a gala over the summer in New Orleans at which time the state winners will be announced.
