Attention Parents of 6th Graders

HMS PBIS will be hosting our first 6th grade dance in April! Students learned about this last week, and they were excited.
This dance will have a few requirements: Grades must be a D or higher for the 3rd Quarter Report Cards and for the 4th Quarter Progress Reports. Students must also not have any referrals during the 2nd semester (January until dance time)!
More information will come as we get close, but we wanted to ensure our students and parents were aware of the requirements.

Attention 8th Grade Parents!!
Here are some reminders about the field trip on Monday. Please note there are not any open spots left. These permissions slips were sent home in October.
For students not attending their field trip, they will have school tomorrow like normal.
Any questions not answered on this document need to be sent to your child's teachers.

Good morning! We are having a cold start back to school after a long break, but we are back in full swing! I wanted to provide everyone with a few reminders.
Blankets are not to be brought to school.
Water bottles are to be clear. Students should not have Stanley cups at HMS. Students will be asked to put them away.
Shoes should come over the back of our students' heel. We are seeing many students wearing Uggs that resemble shoes you slip on. These cause a hazard at HMS since they are not secure on their feet. We do not want out students to fall on our stairs from wearing "slipper like" shoes.
Students should not wear sweatpants, hoodies, or jackets with hoodies.
We understand it is cold outside. Many students are wearing nonuniform jackets on the bus to stay warm. We are ok with that. They are doing a great job of taking them off once they get inside the building.
Please refer to this link for more reminders about our uniform policy. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UuzTCbdwlcb1FGnohvSkhY7gnhjIAwQN/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=110659997711219014233&rtpof=true&sd=true
