Good morning!

If you will be picking up meals today as part of the curbside summer feeding program, please be aware the delivery trucks are running late and pickups will be delayed until approximately 8 a.m. This affects all sites, with the exception of Parkway, which will open at the normal time. Attention students, parents, teachers, pets, and anyone hiding library books under beds… 📚👀

We currently have 297 library books still out, and they are now officially OVERDUE. At this point, some of these books have been gone so long they may have started paying rent somewhere else.

Please check backpacks, bedrooms, cars, under couches, behind TVs, and inside mysterious kitchen drawers where random things disappear forever.

Our library books miss their friends and would love to come home. ❤️📖

Thank you for helping us round up the runaway books!

Dear Benton Elementary parents and guardians,

Although the school year has not yet ended, we’re excited to share some early news about transportation changes coming in 2026-27 that we see as a real win for our Tiger family.
Beginning next year, Benton Elementary will have its own dedicated buses. We will no longer share routes with Benton Intermediate or Benton Middle. With this improvement comes a slight shift in our daily schedule:

New Schedule
8:00 – Students can begin arriving on campus
8:20 - First bell
8:25 - Tardy bell
3:25 - Dismissal (car line and buses load)

We’re sharing this information now so you have plenty of time to plan ahead. We hope you’re as excited as we are about these positive changes for our Benton Elementary community. If you have any questions please reach out to Kim Hawkins.
