Our CMS track teams travelled to Haughton yesterday to participate in another track meet. Our 7th grade boys improved from the previous week to earn 1st place! Our 8th grade guys continued their legacy of excellence taking first place again. Our 7th and 8th grade girls dropped a place, but they still remain in the top three teams! Congratulations to our track athletes! Finish strong next week! We will be there rooting for you!

CMS 6th grader, DESIRE JOHNSON, (black dress in the picture) demonstrated exceptional talent at the District Oratorical Contest last weekend at the Bossier Central Library. She claimed third place with her inspiring presentation and was awarded a plaque and a $1,000 scholarship. CONGRATULATIONS!!! We are SO Proud!

Tomorrow (April 15) is PURPLE UP DAY as we continue to support the Month of the Military Child!!! We would love for everyone to participate! Purple shirts and accessories with uniform bottoms. Students may pay $1 to wear school appropraite jeans or sweatpants if interested. No hats, crocs, slides or rip/holes in jeans.
