Please use this information to plan for late April and early May for Cope Middle students. We need ALL students present on the listed days and times! Please schedule all appointments around these specified times. We appreciate your help with this essential time!

These two educators, Mrs. Samuel and Mrs. Rawle, are two educators that help make learning and discovery possible on our campus. They help our students find resources and foster a love for reading! Not only do they foster a love for reading, but help out anytime we ask! We couldn't do our daily jobs without their assistance. Please help us show our gratitude and appreciate for these special professionals on the Cope campus!

CMS 8th grade students: Would you like to be a part of the award-winning Airline High School Marching Band? The Viking Vanguard Band will have color guard clinic and auditions April 7-10 at Airline High School from 3:00pm until 5:30pm each day. The clinic starts tomorrow!

CMS Talented Arts Program - Music students particpated in their 2025 Spring TAP Recital. We had 15 students who performed award winning hits. It was a HUGE success, and we are SO proud these students' abilities. Comments describing the concert included "It was amazing" , "they were so impressive" ; and "they sound amazing"! Many thanks to Mrs. Dolese and Mr. Johnson for their time working to develop these students' strengths! Kudos on a excellent job to all!

CMS celebrates and appreciates our PARAPROFESSIONALS today! We are so very thankful for the hardwork and effort that each of these individuals display on a daily basis at Cope Middle. Our campus would not be the same without their assistance and guidance. Here are just a few of the TONS of job duties this special group completes each day: Supports the teacher with instructing students on proper classroom behavior Help teachers keep records for grading and attendance Get materials and equipment ready to help teachers prepare for class Reinforce lessons by reviewing material one-on-one and in small groups with students Supervise students during lunch or recess, as well as in between classes or on field trips Assist students who need additional help learning a specific concept Help support the campus anytime Mrs. Grooms calls upon them! We are blessed with the absolute best! Help us cheer for the difference makers!

It was a GREAT day to visit the BAFB's Defenders of Liberty field trip. Our CMS S2S ambassadors and a few other 8th graders had the opportunity to represent our school and see some really cool things! If you can make it this weekend, make plans to attend and see all the booths and aircrafts. We are so thankful for the partnership with Barksdale Air Force Base to allow STEM activities like these for our students!
