The first day of school is only ONE month away and we know you are getting excited to purchase supplies and uniforms. Please make sure you read the BES Handbook for all of your back to school questions!! Special note on shoes - NO Crocs or Clog style shoes are permitted. Yearbooks have arrived!!! Books can be picked up from the office during the following times:
Tuesday 8:00- 10:00 am
Saturday 8:00 - 10:00 am
If those days and times do not work for you, the office will be open starting on July 21st from 8:00 - 3:00 daily.
We will have a few extra books but will not begin selling those until late July. Thank you so much for your patience!
Just a quick heads-up for our Bossier families as we head into the holiday week! 🎆
Please remember that there will be NO Summer Meal Box distributions on Tuesday, June 30.
We will see you right back here to resume regular distributions on Tuesday, July 7!

Due to the severity of the weather and employee safety, today's summer meal box distribution is being pushed back an hour. Meals will be available for pickup at all four sites from 8 a.m. to noon. We appreciate your understanding.

Hey Tiger Families! We hope you are having the best summer ever. We wanted to let you know that this Friday, June 21st will be the last day place an order for the first round of the Tiger Corner Store! What does that mean? Anything that is ordered by June 21st will be at the school for the back to school day in August. If you order from the store in July, those items will not be delivered until after Labor Day. So if you want your items for the first month of school you must order by FRIDAY!! Here is the link:

If you will be picking up meals today as part of the curbside summer feeding program, please be aware the delivery trucks are running late and pickups will be delayed until approximately 8 a.m. This affects all sites, with the exception of Parkway, which will open at the normal time. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Keeping kids fed over the summer costs a pretty penny, but Bossier Schools is coming to the rescue with FREE, nutritious meal boxes – and there are no income restrictions!
Starting Tuesday, May 26, any child age 18 and under is eligible for nutritious meal boxes at four drive-through pickup sites: Benton Middle, W.T. Lewis Elementary, Haughton Middle and Parkway High.
Each box includes 7 shelf stable breakfasts & lunches (no refrigeration or heating needed)
This USDA Summer Food Service Program is completely FREE
Curbside pickups are from 7-11 a.m. every Tuesday, May 26-June 23 and July 7-July 28.

We currently have 297 library books still out, and they are now officially OVERDUE. At this point, some of these books have been gone so long they may have started paying rent somewhere else.
Please check backpacks, bedrooms, cars, under couches, behind TVs, and inside mysterious kitchen drawers where random things disappear forever.
Our library books miss their friends and would love to come home. ❤️📖

This is the last week to purchase your yearbook and be guaranteed a copy—don’t miss out!
While we ran into a small delay and the books won’t arrive before the last day of school, we promise it will be well worth the wait. Books will be available for pickup at the school over the summer. The help make up for this late delay, any student who purchases a book by this Friday will receive a stick in autograph section to have their friends sign before we leave for the summer. This year’s edition is truly something special—one you’ll treasure for years to come! 📚💜
